An editorial focus informed by Hong Kong’s Five-Year Plan considers how Guangdong and Hong Kong can combine their strengths to support Chinese enterprises expanding internationally.

为深化全球湾区交流合作，展望湾区经济高质量发展的共同愿景，粤港澳三地于2026年11月6日至11月8日在广州联合举办“2026国际湾区经济论坛：全球湾区经济开放、协同与包容性增长”。本届论坛在2025年国际湾区经济合作的基础上进一步拓展视野、深化议题，持续发挥这一全球湾区对话平台的独特优势。论坛汇聚全球行业专家及业界代表，围绕湾区经济创新驱动、开放合作、协同发展等核心议题，共同探索湾区经济高质量发展的新路径与新动能，为粤港澳大湾区建设注入持久动力。為深化全球灣區交流合作，展望灣區經濟高質量發展的共同願景，粵港澳三地於2026年11月6日至11月8日在廣州聯合舉辦「2026國際灣區經濟論壇：全球灣區經濟開放、協同與包容性增長」。本屆論壇在2025年國際灣區經濟合作的基礎上進一步拓展視野、深化議題，持續發揮這一全球灣區對話平台的獨特優勢。論壇匯聚全球行業專家及業界代表，圍繞灣區經濟創新驅動、開放合作、協同發展等核心議題，共同探索灣區經濟高質量發展的新路徑與新動能，為粵港澳大灣區建設注入持久動力。To deepen exchange and cooperation among global bay areas and to articulate a shared vision for high-quality bay-area economic development, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will jointly host the 2026 Global Bay Area Economic Forum: Economic Openness, Synergy, and Inclusive Growth in Global Bay Areas in Guangzhou from 6 November to 8 November 2026. Building on the Global Bay Area Economic Forum 2025, this year’s forum will broaden its perspective, deepen its agenda and continue to leverage the distinctive strengths of this global dialogue platform. It will once again convene leading experts and industry representatives from around the world to explore new pathways and drivers for high-quality bay-area economic development, with a focus on innovation-led growth, open cooperation and coordinated development, thereby injecting sustained momentum into the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Its value-creation model rests on four pillars — racing and racecourse entertainment, membership, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community — and the great majority of its operating surplus after tax flows to The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.   • 从化马场（广州）：2018 年 8 月 28 日启用，由 2010 年广州亚运会马术场馆发展而来，是香港赛驹的重要后勤基地，设马房、马匹泳池、马医院与钉甲工场等设施。從化馬場（廣州）：2018 年 8 月 28 日啟用，由 2010 年廣州亞運會馬術場館發展而來，是香港賽駒的重要後勤基地，設馬房、馬匹泳池、馬醫院與釘甲工場等設施。Conghua Racecourse (Guangzhou): opened on 28 August 2018 on the site of the 2010 Asian Games equestrian venue, an important support base for Hong Kong racehorses with stables, an equine pool, a veterinary hospital and a farriery.

  • 穗港马产业深度合作区：2026 年 7 月，马会与广州市政府签署深化合作协议，目标在 2030 年前基本建成以从化马场为核心的合作区，涵盖常规国际水平赛事、马术主题文旅与体育活动、马匹进出口与育种、兽药与器材跨境流动及专业资格互认，并以“穗港三个马场”串联跨境赛马旅游线路。穗港馬產業深度合作區：2026 年 7 月，馬會與廣州市政府簽署深化合作協議，目標在 2030 年前基本建成以從化馬場為核心的合作區，涵蓋常規國際水平賽事、馬術主題文旅與體育活動、馬匹進出口與育種、獸藥與器材跨境流動及專業資格互認，並以「穗港三個馬場」串聯跨境賽馬旅遊線路。Guangzhou–Hong Kong Equine Industry In-depth Cooperation Zone: in July 2026 the Club and the Guangzhou municipal government signed a deepened cooperation agreement aiming to have the zone, centred on Conghua Racecourse, substantially in place by 2030 — regular international-standard racing, equine-themed tourism and sporting events, horse import, export and breeding, cross-border movement of veterinary medicines and equipment, mutual recognition of professional qualifications, and a racing-tourism circuit linking the Club's three racecourses.
